The ADXL335BCPZ is a complete 3-axis accelerometer with signal conditioned voltage outputs, manufactured by Analog Devices. It measures acceleration with a minimum full-scale range of ±3 g, suitable for both static acceleration in tilt-sensing applications and dynamic acceleration from motion, shock, or vibration.
This accelerometer features a low power consumption of 350 μA typical and operates on a single supply from 1.8 V to 3.6 V. The user can select the bandwidth for each axis using external capacitors, with ranges from 0.5 Hz to 1600 Hz for the X and Y axes, and 0.5 Hz to 550 Hz for the Z axis.
The ADXL335BCPZ is available in a small, low-profile 4 mm × 4 mm × 1.45 mm, 16-lead plastic lead frame chip scale package (LFCSP_LQ). It is designed for cost-sensitive, low-power motion and tilt-sensing applications, including mobile devices, gaming systems, disk drive protection, image stabilization, and sports and health devices. The device offers excellent temperature stability and 10,000 g shock survival.
