This multiformat decoder supports the conversion of PAL, NTSC, and SECAM standards in the form of composite or S-video into a digital ITU-R BT.656 format. It also supports the decoding of component RGB/YPrPb video signals.

 

The device integrates four 10-bit ADCs capable of sampling up to 140 MHz and includes a 12-channel analog input mux. It features internal antialias filters and supports a wide range of video standards including 525p/625p progressive scan and 720p/1080i HDTV. The ADV7401BSTZ-80 can digitize RGB graphics up to 1280 x 1024 at 75 Hz.

 

This IC is designed for consumer video applications such as LCD/DLP rear projection HDTVs, PDP HDTVs, and LCD TVs.
