The ADV7393BCPZ-REEL is a low-power, chip-scale 10-bit SD/HD video encoder from Analog Devices. It integrates three 10-bit video DACs with oversampling rates up to 297 MHz for HD support. The device accepts 4:2:2 YCrCb and 4:4:4 RGB input formats and outputs composite (CVBS), S-Video (Y-C), component YPrPb, and component RGB signals. It is compliant with SMPTE standards for 1080i, 720p, and 1035i resolutions.
This encoder is designed for set-top boxes, video players, and display applications. It operates with an analog supply voltage of 2.6V to 3.46V and a digital supply voltage of 1.71V to 1.89V. The device is housed in a 40-lead LFCSP-VQ (6x6 mm) package and supports surface mount mounting.
The ADV7393BCPZ-REEL includes advanced power management features such as content-dependent low-power DAC operation and automatic cable detection. It also supports Macrovision Rev 7.1.L1 and Rev 1.2 for copy protection, as well as closed captioning and wide screen signaling.
The ADV7393BCPZ-REEL supports a maximum video resolution of 1080i, as well as 720p and 1035i.
The analog supply voltage range is 2.6V to 3.46V, and the digital supply voltage range is 1.71V to 1.89V.
It is available in a 40-lead LFCSP-VQ (6x6 mm) package, also described as 40-VFQFN Exposed Pad, CSP.
It supports composite (CVBS), S-Video (Y-C), component YPrPb, and component RGB output formats.
It has three 10-bit video DACs.
Typical applications include set-top boxes, video players, and displays.
The RoHS status is listed as RoHS3 Compliant, but this is unverified and should be treated as low confidence.
