The ADV7181CWBSTZ-REEL is a high-quality, single-chip multiformat video decoder and graphics digitizer from Analog Devices. It converts analog composite, S-Video, and component video signals into digital formats such as ITU-R BT.656 and YCrCb or RGB pixel output.
It integrates four 10-bit ADCs with a maximum sampling rate of 110 MHz and six analog input channels. The device supports NTSC, PAL, and SECAM color standards, as well as progressive scan formats (525p, 625p) and HDTV formats (720p, 1080i). It can also digitize RGB graphics up to 1024x768 at 70 Hz. The output interface offers 12-bit 4:4:4 DDR or 8-/10-/16-/20-bit SDR pixel output.
The decoder operates with analog supply voltage of 3.15V to 3.45V and digital supply of 1.65V to 2V. It is qualified for automotive applications and operates over an industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The device is housed in a 64-LQFP package with a 10x10 mm body, surface mountable, and available in tape and reel packaging.
Typical applications include automotive entertainment systems, HDTVs, LCD/DLP projectors, HDTV set-top boxes with PVR, DVD recorders with progressive scan input, and AVR receivers.
