The ADV7180BCPZ is a 10-bit, 4× oversampling SDTV video decoder from Analog Devices. It automatically detects and converts standard analog baseband television signals compatible with worldwide NTSC, PAL, and SECAM standards into 8-bit ITU-R BT.656 component video data.

 

This decoder features three analog video input channels that accept composite, S-video, or component video signals. The integrated 10-bit ADC provides professional quality video performance with true 8-bit data resolution. Adaptive digital line length tracking and mini-TBC functionality are included.

 

Control is provided via a 2-wire I2C-compatible serial interface. The device operates from a 1.8V to 3.3V supply and is specified over the industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. It is housed in a 40-lead LFCSP-VQ (6x6mm) package with an exposed pad, suitable for surface mount assembly.
