The ADUM5401ARWZ-RL by Analog Devices is a quad-channel digital isolator that integrates an isolated DC-to-DC converter, known as isoPower. This technology eliminates the need for a separate isolated power supply in low-power applications.
This device offers up to 500 mW of regulated output power and provides 2.5 kV of isolation. It supports data rates up to 25 Mbps (NRZ) and features high common-mode transient immunity of greater than 25 kV/µs. The operating temperature range is up to 105°C.
Designed with Analog Devices' iCoupler technology, the ADUM5401ARWZ-RL is housed in a 16-lead SOIC package with 7.6 mm creepage. It is suitable for applications such as RS-232/RS-422/RS-485 transceivers, industrial field bus isolation, power supply start-up bias, gate drives, isolated sensor interfaces, and industrial PLCs.
Safety and regulatory approvals include UL recognition, CSA Component Acceptance, and VDE certificate of conformity.
