The ADUM3211ARZ is a dual-channel digital isolator based on Analog Devices' iCoupler® technology. It provides enhanced system-level ESD performance and operates at high temperatures up to 125°C. This isolator offers 2500Vrms isolation and supports data rates up to 1Mbps, with precise timing characteristics like 3 ns maximum pulse width distortion.
Designed for size-critical applications, the ADUM3211ARZ is housed in a narrow body, 8-lead SOIC package suitable for surface mounting. It features high common-mode transient immunity of greater than 25 kV/µs. The device is qualified for automotive applications and is suitable for interfaces such as SPI, RS-232, RS-422, and RS-485 transceivers, as well as digital field bus isolation.
With low power consumption, the ADUM3211ARZ offers efficient operation. For 5V operation, it consumes a maximum of 1.7 mA per channel at 0-2 Mbps, and for 3.3V operation, it consumes 1.5 mA per channel at 0-2 Mbps. Safety and regulatory approvals include UL recognition and VDE certification.
