The ADuM1400CRWZ from Analog Devices is a quad-channel digital isolator built using iCoupler® technology. It provides robust isolation of 2500Vrms, making it suitable for applications requiring high voltage separation.
This isolator supports data rates up to 90Mbps (NRZ) with precise timing characteristics, including a maximum pulse width distortion of 2ns and channel-to-channel matching of 2ns. It operates over a wide temperature range of -40°C to 105°C and features high common-mode transient immunity of greater than 25 kV/µs.
The ADUM1400CRWZ is available in a 16-lead SOIC wide body package and is designed for surface mount applications. It supports 3 V/5 V level translation and includes an output enable function. Power consumption is low, with a maximum of 1.0 mA per channel at 0 Mbps to 2 Mbps and 31 mA per channel at 90 Mbps when operating at 5V.
