ADUM1300ARWZ-RL

The ADuM1300/ADuM1301 are triple-channel digital isolators from Analog Devices, utilizing iCoupler technology for superior performance over traditional optocouplers. These devices integrate high-speed CMOS and monolithic transformer technology, eliminating the need for external drivers and discrete components. They provide three independent isolation channels with support for bidirectional communication and 3 V/5 V level translation.

Key electrical specifications include a high data rate of up to 90 Mbps (NRZ) and precise timing characteristics with a maximum pulse width distortion of 2 ns and channel-to-channel matching of 2 ns. The isolators offer high common-mode transient immunity of greater than 25 kV/µs. They operate with supply voltages ranging from 2.7 V to 5.5 V, supporting low-voltage systems and voltage translation. Power consumption is notably low, with maximum currents per channel ranging from 0.8 mA at 3 V to 32 mA at 5 V and 90 Mbps.

This digital isolator is qualified for automotive applications and operates at high temperatures up to 125°C. It is available in a 16-lead SOIC wide body package. Safety and regulatory approvals include UL 1577 and IEC/EN/CSA standards, with an isolation voltage rating of 2500 Vrms for 1 minute.
