The ADUM1201CRZ-RL7 is a dual-channel digital isolator based on Analog Devices' iCoupler technology. It provides superior performance compared to traditional optocouplers, eliminating design challenges related to current transfer ratios and temperature effects.
This isolator supports high data rates up to 25 Mbps (NRZ) and features precise timing characteristics with a maximum pulse width distortion of 3 ns and channel-to-channel matching of 3 ns. It offers high common-mode transient immunity of greater than 25 kV/µs.
The ADUM1201CRZ-RL7 operates across a wide temperature range up to 125°C and provides safety and regulatory approvals including UL recognition for 2500 V rms for 1 minute and VDE certification. It is qualified for automotive applications.
Available in a narrow body, RoHS-compliant, SOIC 8-lead package, this digital isolator is suitable for size-critical multichannel isolation, SPI interface isolation, data converter isolation, and transceiver isolation in applications like digital field buses, hybrid electric vehicles, battery monitors, and motor drives.
