The ADUM1200ARZ by ADI Electronics is a dual-channel digital isolator based on iCoupler technology. It provides robust isolation for digital signals, operating at data rates up to 25 Mbps (NRZ).
This isolator supports bidirectional communication and 3 V/5 V level translation, making it versatile for various interface requirements. It features precise timing characteristics with a maximum pulse width distortion of 3 ns and channel-to-channel matching of 3 ns. The device offers high common-mode transient immunity of greater than 25 kV/µs.
Designed for demanding environments, the ADUM1200ARZ operates at high temperatures up to 125°C. It meets safety and regulatory approvals, including UL recognition for 2500 V rms for 1 minute per UL 1577 and VDE Certificate of Conformity.
Available in a narrow body, RoHS-compliant, 8-lead SOIC package, this digital isolator is suitable for size-critical multichannel isolation applications such as SPI interface isolation, data converter isolation, and RS-232/RS-422/RS-485 transceiver isolation.
