The ADT75ARZ from Analog Devices is a 12-bit temperature-to-digital converter designed for accurate ambient temperature measurements. It features an I2C/SMBus-compatible interface, allowing for easy integration into various systems. The sensor operates from a supply voltage of 2.7V to 5.5V and can measure temperatures ranging from -55°C to +125°C.
With a B grade accuracy of ±1.0°C from 0°C to 70°C and an A grade accuracy of ±2.0°C from -25°C to +100°C, the ADT75ARZ provides reliable temperature data. It offers a resolution of 12 bits, enabling fine-grained temperature monitoring. The device includes features such as an overtemperature indicator and a shutdown mode for low power consumption, reducing current draw to a typical 3 µA.
Available in a space-saving 8-lead SOIC package, the ADT75ARZ is suitable for surface mount applications. Its robust design and wide operating temperature range make it ideal for applications like environmental control, computer thermal monitoring, thermal protection, and industrial process control.
