The ADSP-TS201SABPZ050 is a high-performance TigerSHARC fixed/floating point digital signal processor from Analog Devices. It operates at a clock rate of 500MHz and features dual computation blocks with ALU, multiplier, shifter, register file, and communications logic unit. It supports single-precision IEEE 32-bit and extended-precision 40-bit floating-point, as well as 8-, 16-, 32-, and 64-bit fixed-point data formats.
The processor includes 24 Mbits (3MB) of on-chip DRAM memory and supports external memory interfaces. Integrated I/O includes a 14-channel DMA controller, external port, four link ports, SDRAM controller, programmable flag pins, two timers, and a timer expired pin. It is designed for multiprocessor DSP applications with host interface, link port, and multi-processor communication.
The device is housed in a 576-ball BBGA surface mount package (25mm x 25mm) with enhanced thermal characteristics. It operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C (case temperature) and requires a core supply voltage of 2.5V. The part is intended for use in telecommunications infrastructure and other demanding multiprocessor DSP applications. It includes an IEEE 1149.1 compliant JTAG test access port for on-chip emulation.
The core supply voltage is 2.50V.
It uses a 576-BBGA surface mount package (25x25mm).
It operates from -40°C to 85°C (case temperature).
The part is listed as RoHS3 Compliant, but this status is unverified and has low confidence.
It has 3MB (24 Mbits) of on-chip DRAM memory.
It has 14 DMA channels.
It supports single-precision IEEE 32-bit and extended-precision 40-bit floating-point, as well as 8-, 16-, 32-, and 64-bit fixed-point formats.
