The ADSP-2184BSTZ-160 is a fixed-point DSP microcomputer from Analog Devices, part of the ADSP-2184 family. It delivers 40 MIPS sustained performance with a 25 ns instruction cycle time and a 40 MHz clock frequency. The device integrates 20 kB of on-chip RAM, configured as 4K words of program memory and 4K words of data memory, and features a three-bus architecture for dual operand fetches per cycle.
The DSP includes independent ALU, multiplier/accumulator, and barrel shifter computational units, along with two independent data address generators and a powerful program sequencer with zero-overhead looping.
