The ADSP-2183KST-210 is a fixed-point digital signal processor from Analog Devices, part of the ADSP-2100 family. It delivers 52 MIPS sustained performance with a 19 ns instruction cycle time from a 26.32 MHz crystal at 3.3 V. The device includes 80 kB of on-chip RAM configured as 16K words of program memory and 16K words of data memory, both dual-purpose for instruction and data storage.
The DSP features independent ALU, multiplier/accumulator, and barrel shifter computational units, along with two independent data address generators and a powerful program sequencer with zero-overhead looping. For system interfacing, it includes a 16-bit internal DMA port, a 4 MByte memory interface, an 8-bit byte DMA controller, and two double-buffered serial ports with companding hardware.
