The ADSP-21060LAB-160 is a high-performance floating point digital signal processor from Analog Devices, part of the SHARC family. It features a 40 MHz core clock rate (40 MIPS) with single-cycle instruction execution, delivering 120 MFLOPS peak and 80 MFLOPS sustained performance. The device supports 32-bit single-precision and 40-bit extended-precision IEEE floating-point data formats, as well as 32-bit fixed-point format.
On-chip memory includes 512 kB of RAM (up to 4 Mbit SRAM), and the processor can address up to 4 Gwords of external memory. The core operates at 3.3V and the device includes a host interface, link ports, and serial ports for flexible I/O. It is designed for communications, graphics, and imaging applications.
The ADSP-21060LAB-160 is supplied in a 225-ball PBGA package (23x23 mm) or a 225-BBGA package, with surface mount mounting. It operates over an industrial temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
