The ADS7841PB is a 12-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) based on a successive approximation register (SAR) architecture. It accepts four single-ended input channels through a multiplexer and sample-and-hold stage, with a 1:1 S/H-to-ADC ratio. The device operates from either a 2.7V to 3.6V or 5V supply and communicates over an SPI data interface.
The converter digitizes at a sampling rate of 200k samples per second, using an external reference input to define the analog input range. This combination makes it suitable for a variety of data acquisition systems, industrial control and measurement equipment, and other applications requiring multi-channel analog input digitization with a simple serial interface.
The device is housed in a 16-pin dual-in-line package (16-DIP, 0.300" lead spacing) with through-hole mounting, supplied as the 16-PDIP package. It operates over a -40°C to +125°C temperature range, allowing use in demanding environments.
The device accepts a supply voltage of 2.7V to 3.6V or 5V.
It is available in a 16-pin DIP package (16-DIP, 0.300" or 7.62mm lead spacing) with through-hole mounting, supplied as 16-PDIP.
-40°C to +125°C.
It is listed as RoHS3 compliant in the current database, but this status is not yet verified against a manufacturer certificate.
It has 4 single-ended input channels.
The ADC supports a sampling rate of 200k samples per second.
It uses an SPI serial interface.
