The ADC offers a maximum sampling rate of 40 ksps and can convert 16 bits to within ±2.0 LSB INL in 25 µs maximum. It supports both parallel and serial (SPI) data interfaces for flexible system integration. The input voltage range is ±10V, and the device includes over-voltage protection. The ADS7825U can be configured in a continuous conversion mode to sequentially digitize all four channels.

 

This ADC is specified for operation over the industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. It is pin-compatible with the 12-bit ADS7824. The recommended voltage references are the REF02 and REF102. The device is available in a surface-mount 28-SOIC package.
