The ADS7052IRUGR is a high-speed, low-power SAR ADC from Texas Instruments offering 14-bit resolution with a maximum sampling rate of 1 MSPS. It accepts a single-ended analog input voltage range from 0 V to the analog supply voltage (AVDD), which can operate from 1.65 V to 3.6 V. The digital supply (DVDD) is independent and also supports 1.65 V to 3.6 V.
This ADC achieves excellent dynamic performance with a typical SNR of 74.9 dB and SINAD of 74.5 dB at 2 kHz input frequency. The typical power consumption is only 1.5 mW at 1 MSPS with a 3.3-V AVDD, making it suitable for battery-powered applications. It includes integrated offset calibration and features a no-missing-codes DNL of ±1 LSB and a maximum INL of ±2 LSB.
The device communicates via an SPI-compatible serial interface with a 24-MHz clock speed and is JESD8-7A compliant. It is housed in a compact 8-X2QFN (1.5 mm × 1.5 mm) package for surface mounting, operating over the full industrial temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.
