ADS6148IRGZT Description

Short technical summary and product information.

The ADS6148IRGZT is a 14-bit, 210 MSPS analog-to-digital converter from Texas Instruments' ADS614X family. It features a pipelined architecture with a single differential input and supports both LVDS (DDR) and parallel CMOS output interfaces. The device includes an internal reference as well as support for an external reference, and provides programmable fine gain up to 6 dB for SNR/SFDR trade-off optimization. It also includes a DC offset correction loop.

This ADC is designed for high-speed applications such as multicarrier communications, wireless infrastructure, software-defined radio, power amplifier linearization, test and measurement instrumentation, high-definition video, medical imaging, and radar systems.

The converter operates from a 1.7 V to 1.9 V supply and is specified over the industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. It is housed in a compact 48-pin VQFN package with an exposed pad (7 mm x 7 mm) for improved thermal performance. The device is available in tape and reel packaging with 250 units per reel for small quantities and 2,500 units per reel for larger orders.
