The ADS6123IRHBT is a 12-bit, 80 MSPS analog-to-digital converter (ADC) from Texas Instruments, part of the ADS612X family. It uses a pipelined architecture and offers a single differential input channel. The device provides a typical signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of 71.8 dB and an effective number of bits (ENOB) of 11.55 bits, with a spurious-free dynamic range (SFDR) of 93 dB. It features a 500 MHz analog input bandwidth and a peak-to-peak input voltage range of 2 V.
The ADC supports both parallel CMOS and double data rate (DDR) LVDS output interfaces. It includes an internal voltage reference and operates from a 3.3 V analog supply and a 1.65 V to 3.6 V digital supply. Typical power consumption is 318 mW. The device also offers programmable gain settings for SNR/SFDR trade-offs.
The ADS6123IRHBT is housed in a 32-pin VQFN package with an exposed pad, measuring 5 mm x 5 mm. It is specified for surface mount assembly and operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. The device is supplied in tape and reel packaging with a standard quantity of 250 units per reel.
