The ADS58H43IZCR is a quad-channel, 14-bit, 250-MSPS analog-to-digital converter (ADC) from Texas Instruments. It features a pipelined architecture with simultaneous sampling capability and differential inputs. The device offers an analog input bandwidth of 500 MHz and typical SFDR of 85 dB at 170 MHz IF. SNR is 70.5 dB in a 90 MHz bandwidth with SNRBoost 3G+ technology.
The ADC operates from a 1.7V to 2V supply and consumes 1460 mW typical power. In 11-bit mode, power consumption reduces to 365 mW per channel. The device supports three operating modes: 11-bit at 250 MSPS, 11-bit with SNRBoost 3G+ at 250 MSPS, and 14-bit burst mode at 250 MSPS.
The ADS58H43IZCR is housed in a 144-pin NFBGA (ZCR) package measuring 10x10 mm, suitable for surface mount assembly. It operates over the industrial temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. The digital output interface is DDR LVDS parallel.
This ADC is designed for high-linearity receiver and feedback applications requiring high dynamic range and low power consumption. Typical applications include wireless infrastructure receivers, radar systems, and test equipment.
