ADS5423IPGP

The ADS5423IPGP is a 14-bit, 80-MSPS analog-to-digital converter (ADC) from Texas Instruments. It operates from a 5V supply and provides 3.3V CMOS compatible digital outputs. The device includes an on-chip input buffer, track-and-hold circuit, and internal voltage reference. It achieves a typical SNR of 74.6 dB and SFDR of 94 dB at 80 MSPS and 50 MHz IF, with an ENOB of 12.2 bits. The analog input bandwidth is 570 MHz. The ADC uses a pipelined architecture and consumes 1850 mW typical power. It is housed in a 52-pin HTQFP package with an exposed pad for thermal management. The input is differential with a 2.2 Vpp range, and the data interface is parallel CMOS with 2s complement output format. The device operates over the industrial temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. Applications include single and multichannel digital receivers, base station infrastructure, instrumentation, and video/imaging systems. The ADS5423IPGP is pin compatible with the AD6644/45 from Analog Devices.
