The ADS5281IPFPR from Texas Instruments is an eight-channel, 12-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with a maximum sampling rate of 50 MSPS. Its pipelined architecture and differential inputs make it suitable for high-speed, multi-channel data acquisition systems.
The device provides a 520 MHz analog input bandwidth, a signal-to-noise ratio of 70 dB, an effective number of bits of 11.3, and a spurious-free dynamic range of 85 dBc. The input voltage range is 2 V peak-to-peak, and typical power consumption is 512 mW. It supports external and internal references and offers simultaneous sampling across all eight channels. Digital output is available via LVDS serial or SPI interface.
The ADS5281IPFPR operates from a 3.3 V analog supply and a 1.8 V digital supply, and is specified over a -40°C to 85°C temperature range. It is supplied in an 80-TQFP exposed pad package (80-HTQFP, 12x12 mm) for surface-mount assembly.
