The ADS4122IRGZR is a 12-bit, 65-MSPS analog-to-digital converter (ADC) from Texas Instruments, part of the ADS41xx family. It operates from a single 1.8V supply and consumes only 103 mW at 65 MSPS, making it suitable for power-sensitive applications.
The device achieves a signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of 72.2 dBFS and a spurious-free dynamic range (SFDR) of 81 dBc at 170 MHz input frequency. It supports differential input and offers a pipelined architecture with an internal reference.
The ADC provides a double data rate (DDR) LVDS output interface with programmable swing and strength, as well as a 1.8V parallel CMOS interface. It is housed in a 48-lead VQFN package with an exposed pad for thermal management, and operates over -40°C to 85°C.
This ADC is well-suited for multi-carrier, wide bandwidth communications, medical imaging, and test equipment where low power and high dynamic performance are critical.
