The ADS124S08IRHBT is a 24-bit, 4-kSPS, 12-channel delta-sigma analog-to-digital converter (ADC) from Texas Instruments. It features an integrated programmable gain amplifier (PGA) and voltage reference, making it suitable for precision sensor measurement applications. The device supports both differential and single-ended inputs through a 12-channel multiplexer, with a MUX-PGA-ADC configuration.
Key design features include a low-noise PGA with gain up to 128, an internal 2.5V reference with 10 ppm/°C drift, and an internal 4.096 MHz oscillator. The ADC offers programmable data rates from 2.5 SPS to 4 kSPS, simultaneous 50/60 Hz rejection at low data rates, and four general-purpose I/Os. The SPI-compatible interface includes optional CRC for data integrity.
The ADS124S08IRHBT is supplied in a 32-VFQFN Exposed Pad package (supplier package 32-VQFN 5x5 mm) for surface mount assembly. It operates over a temperature range of -50°C to +125°C and consumes only 1.75 mW typical power. Analog supply voltage ranges from 2.7V to 5.25V, and digital supply from 2.7V to 3.6V.
