ADS124S06IRHBR

The ADS124S06IRHBR is a precision, 24-bit, delta-sigma analog-to-digital converter (ADC) from Texas Instruments. It offers a sampling rate of 4 kSPS and features a multiplexer with 6 single-ended inputs, a programmable gain amplifier (PGA) with gains from 1 to 128, and an internal voltage reference of 2.5 V with 10 ppm/°C drift. The device operates from a digital supply of 2.7 V to 3.6 V and an analog supply that can be unipolar (2.7 V to 5.25 V) or bipolar (±2.5 V). It includes an internal oscillator at 4.096 MHz and supports SPI-compatible data interface with optional CRC.

Designed for low-power operation, the ADC consumes as low as 280 µA. It provides simultaneous 50-Hz and 60-Hz rejection at data rates ≤20 SPS using a low-latency digital filter. Additional integrated features include dual-matched programmable current sources for sensor excitation (10 µA to 2000 µA), an internal temperature sensor, extended fault detection circuits, self offset and system calibration, and four general-purpose I/Os.

The ADS124S06IRHBR is housed in a 32-pin VQFN package (5x5 mm) with an exposed pad for thermal management. It is rated for surface mount assembly and operates over a temperature range of -50°C to +125°C. The device is RoHS compliant and has a moisture sensitivity level of Level-3-260C-168 HR.
