ADS1234IPWR

The ADS1234IPWR is a precision 24-bit delta-sigma analog-to-digital converter (ADC) from Texas Instruments, part of the ADS123x family. It features a 4-channel differential input multiplexer, a low-noise programmable gain amplifier (PGA) with selectable gains of 1, 2, 64, and 128, and a sigma-delta modulator. The ADC achieves 23.5-bit effective resolution at gain = 1 and 19.2-bit noise-free resolution at gain = 64. RMS noise is 17 nV at 10 SPS and 44 nV at 80 SPS (gain = 128). The device supports selectable data rates of 10 SPS or 80 SPS and offers 100 dB simultaneous 50 Hz and 60 Hz rejection. Communication is via a two-wire SPI interface. The ADS1234IPWR operates from a supply voltage range of 2.7 V to 5.3 V and over a temperature range of -40°C to 105°C. It is housed in a 28-pin TSSOP package (0.173", 4.40 mm width) with a surface-mount mounting type. The part is suitable for bridge sensor applications such as weigh scales, strain gauges, and pressure sensors. Available packaging options include tape and reel (2000 pieces) and tube (50 pieces).
