The ADS1211P is a 24-bit Sigma-Delta analog-to-digital converter from Texas Instruments. It uses a MUX-PGA-ADC configuration with a Sigma-Delta architecture to achieve high-resolution conversion.
The device accepts 4 differential input channels and provides a maximum sampling rate of 16k samples per second. Data is transferred via an SPI serial interface. It supports both external and internal voltage references and operates from a single 5V analog supply. An integrated programmable gain amplifier (PGA) allows signal conditioning before conversion.
The ADS1211P is housed in a 24-DIP (0.300", 7.62mm) through-hole package (supplier package 24-PDIP) and operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. It is RoHS3 compliant.
