The ADS114S08BIPBSR is a 16-bit, 4-kSPS delta-sigma analog-to-digital converter (ADC) from Texas Instruments. It features 12 input channels configurable as differential, pseudo-differential, or single-ended, and includes a programmable gain amplifier (PGA) with gains from 1 to 128. The device integrates a 2.5V internal reference, an internal oscillator, and a temperature sensor. It supports both internal and external reference modes.
The ADC offers 50/60 Hz rejection at data rates up to 20 SPS, dual-matched programmable current sources (iDACs) for sensor excitation, and four general-purpose I/Os. The SPI-compatible interface enables easy integration with microcontrollers. Power consumption is typically 1.75 mW, making it suitable for low-power applications.
The ADS114S08BIPBSR is supplied in a 32-pin TQFP package (5x5 mm) and operates over -40°C to +125°C. It requires an analog supply of 2.7 V to 5.25 V and a digital supply of 2.7 V to 3.6 V.
