The ADS1110A4IDBVT is a precision, continuously self-calibrating analog-to-digital converter from Texas Instruments. It features 16-bit resolution with no missing codes and a maximum sampling rate of 240 samples per second. The device accepts differential or single-ended inputs and includes an internal 2.048V reference with ±0.05% accuracy and 5 ppm/°C drift. The onboard programmable gain amplifier (PGA) allows flexible input range adjustment.
Communication is via an I2C-compatible serial interface with eight available addresses. The ADC operates from a single 2.7V to 5.5V supply and draws only 240 µA typical supply current. Its small SOT-23-6 surface-mount package makes it suitable for space-constrained designs.
Typical applications include portable instrumentation, industrial process control, smart transmitters, consumer goods, factory automation, and temperature measurement. The device supports programmable data rates of 15, 30, 60, or 240 SPS and performs single-cycle conversions with continuous self-calibration.
