The ADP3309ART-2.9-RL7 is a member of the ADP330x family of precision low dropout anyCAP voltage regulators. It provides a fixed 2.9V output voltage and can deliver up to 100mA of load current. This regulator features an ultralow dropout voltage of 120mV typical at 100mA and ±1.2% accuracy at 25°C.
Designed for stability with any capacitor type, including ceramic, it requires only a 0.47 μF output capacitor. The device operates over an input voltage range of 2.8V to 12V and has a wide ambient temperature range of -20°C to 85°C. It includes current and thermal limiting, as well as a shutdown feature that reduces ground current to 1 μA.
The ADP3309ART-2.9-RL7 is housed in an ultrasmall 5-lead SOT-23 package, making it suitable for space-restricted applications. Its excellent line and load regulation, low noise, and low shutdown current make it ideal for battery-powered devices and portable electronics.
