The ADP1712AUJZ-R7 is a low dropout (LDO) CMOS linear regulator manufactured by Analog Devices. It is designed to provide up to 300 mA of output current with a low dropout voltage of 170 mV at a 300 mA load, enhancing efficiency and allowing for a wide input voltage range from 2.5 V to 5.5 V.
This regulator features very low ground current, consuming only 75 μA when driving a 100 μA load, making it suitable for battery-powered applications. It offers excellent performance characteristics including ±1% initial accuracy and ±2% accuracy over line, load, and temperature variations. The device also boasts low output noise of 40 μV rms and high PSRR of 72 dB at 1 kHz.
The ADP1712AUJZ-R7 is available in multiple fixed output voltage options ranging from 0.75 V to 3.3 V, as well as an adjustable version for output voltages between 0.8 V and 5.0 V. It includes features such as current limit and thermal overload protection, and logic-controlled enable. The regulator is supplied in a compact 5-lead TSOT package, suitable for surface mounting.
Applications for the ADP1712AUJZ-R7 include mobile phones, digital cameras, audio devices, and other portable or battery-powered equipment requiring post DC-DC regulation.
