The ADM7160AUJZ-3.3-R2 is an ultralow noise, low dropout linear regulator from Analog Devices, designed for noise-sensitive applications. It provides a fixed 3.3V output voltage and can supply up to 200mA of current. The device operates from an input voltage range of 2.2V to 5.5V, with a low dropout voltage of 150mV at a 200mA load, enhancing efficiency.
Key features include excellent PSRR performance of 54 dB at 100 kHz and ultralow noise independent of VOUT. The regulator achieves this performance without requiring a bypass capacitor, making it suitable for RF, VCO, and PLL power supplies, as well as post DC-to-DC regulation for ADCs and DACs. It includes current-limit and thermal overload protection circuits for reliability.
The ADM7160AUJZ-3.3-R2 is available in a compact 5-lead TSOT package, suitable for space-constrained applications. It is designed for stable operation with small 1 µF ceramic input and output capacitors.
