The ADM3491ARZ-REEL is a low power, differential line transceiver designed for RS-485 and RS-422 communication using a single 3.3V supply. It supports full-duplex operation at data rates up to 10 Mbps, making it suitable for high-speed industrial and telecom interfaces. The device features a 2 nA typical shutdown supply current, reducing power consumption in idle modes. It can drive up to 32 transceivers on the bus and operates over a -40°C to +85°C temperature range. The transceiver is housed in a 14-SOIC (0.154", 3.90mm Width) surface mount package with gull wing leads and 1.27 mm lead spacing. Tape and reel packaging is available for automated assembly.
