The ADM3065ETRMZ-EP is a half-duplex RS-485 transceiver from Analog Devices. It supports data rates up to 50 Mbps and operates from a 3V to 5.5V supply voltage range. The device includes full receiver fail-safe protection for open, short, and idle bus conditions, as well as glitch-free hot swap support. It is compliant with the PROFIBUS standard when VCC is at least 4.5V.
ESD protection on the bus pins meets IEC 61000-4-2 specifications with ±12 kV contact discharge and ±15 kV air discharge, plus HBM ratings of ±30 kV. The receiver hysteresis is 30 mV typical. The device can connect up to 128 transceivers on a single RS-485 bus.
