The ADM3051CRZ-REEL7 is a high-speed industrial CAN transceiver from Analog Devices, designed for 5V operation and compliant with the ISO 11898 standard. It supports data rates up to 1 Mbps and features short-circuit protection on CANH and CANL against shorts to power or ground in 24V systems, thermal shutdown, slope control for reduced EMI, and a low current standby mode.
This transceiver includes a single driver and receiver in a half-duplex configuration, with receiver hysteresis of 150 mV typical. Propagation delays are 50 ns for the driver and 120 ns for the receiver. The device is capable of connecting 110 or more nodes on the bus and operates over the industrial temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
