The ADM1024ARUZ-REEL is a complete system hardware monitor for microprocessor-based systems, providing measurement and limit comparison of various system parameters. It integrates up to nine measurement channels including voltage monitoring, fan speed measurement, and remote diode temperature sensing via two channels, plus an on-chip temperature sensor.
The device features a high-speed 10-bit successive approximation ADC that allows frequent sampling of all analog channels to ensure fast interrupt response to out-of-limit conditions. Communication is via the System Management Bus (SMBus) serial interface, enabling programmable limit comparisons and readout of measured values.
