The ADG836YRMZ-REEL7 is a low-voltage CMOS analog switch containing two independently selectable SPDT switches. It offers an ultralow on resistance of 0.5 Ohm typical, with a maximum of 0.8 Ohm at 125°C, making it suitable for precision signal routing. The device operates over a supply voltage range of 1.65V to 3.6V and is fully specified for 3.3V, 2.5V, and 1.8V operation.
Each switch conducts equally well in both directions and supports rail-to-rail signal swing. The ADG836 features fast switching times of less than 20 ns typical and very low power consumption under 0.1 µW. It also provides break-before-make switching action to prevent signal overlap.
The device is housed in a 10-lead MSOP package with surface mount mounting. It is designed for battery-powered and portable applications such as cellular phones, PDAs, MP3 players, and audio/video signal routing.
The typical on-resistance is 0.5 Ohm at 25°C, with a maximum of 0.8 Ohm at 125°C.
The ADG836YRMZ-REEL7 operates from 1.65V to 3.6V.
It is available in a 10-lead MSOP package (10-TFSOP, 10-MSOP).
The operating temperature range is -40°C to +125°C.
The part is listed as RoHS3 Compliant, but this status is unverified.
Typical switching time is less than 20 ns, with maximum turn-on time of 26 ns and turn-off time of 7 ns.
The device can handle up to 300 mA continuous current.
