The ADG823BRMZ is a monolithic CMOS dual single-pole single-throw (SPST) analog switch from Analog Devices. It is designed on an advanced submicron process providing low power dissipation, high switching speed, low on resistance, and low leakage currents. The switch operates from a single 1.8V to 5.5V supply, making it ideal for battery-powered instruments.
Key electrical characteristics include a typical on resistance of 0.5 Ω at 25°C (maximum 0.8 Ω at 125°C), on resistance flatness of 0.15 Ω typical, and a -3dB bandwidth of 24 MHz. The device features rail-to-rail operation, TTL/CMOS compatible inputs, and break-before-make switching action. Switching times are 33 ns typical, with maximum turn-on time of 45 ns and turn-off time of 16 ns. Charge injection is 15 pC, and crosstalk is -82 dB at 1 MHz.
The ADG823BRMZ is housed in an 8-MSOP surface mount package (3.00mm width) and operates over the automotive temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. It is suitable for applications such as power routing, battery-powered systems, communication systems, data acquisition, audio and video signal routing, and relay replacement.
