ADG713BRUZ Description

Short technical summary and product information.

The ADG713BRUZ is part of the ADG711/ADG712/ADG713 family of monolithic CMOS analog switches from Analog Devices. It contains four independently selectable SPST switch channels with both normally open and normally closed configurations. Designed for low-voltage operation, the device operates from a single 1.8 V to 5.5 V supply, making it suitable for battery-powered and portable equipment.

Each switch offers a typical on-resistance of 2.5 Ω and a maximum of 4.5 Ω at a 5 V supply. The -3 dB bandwidth exceeds 200 MHz, and the source and drain off-capacitances are 10 pF each. Fast switching times of 16 ns (turn-on) and 10 ns (turn-off) are typical, with charge injection of 3 pC and crosstalk of -90 dB at 10 MHz. Off-leakage current is a typical 100 pA.

With rail-to-rail operation and typical power consumption below 0.01 μW, this switch is well suited for USB 1.1 signal switching, audio and video routing, sample-and-hold circuits, and replacement of mechanical reed relays. It is qualified for automotive applications and is compatible with TTL/CMOS control logic. The 1:1 multiplexer/demultiplexer circuit simplifies signal routing in communication systems and data acquisition.

The device is available in a 16-lead TSSOP surface-mount package (0.173\" width, 4.40 mm) and operates over the industrial temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C. RoHS3 compliance is indicated in the existing product data.
