The ADG608TRU from Analog Devices is a monolithic CMOS analog multiplexer featuring eight single channels. It is fully specified for ±5 V power supplies and operates over a temperature range of -55°C to 125°C. This device switches one of eight inputs to a common output, controlled by 3-bit binary address lines. The address and enable inputs are TTL compatible, making it suitable for bus-controlled systems like data acquisition and process controls.
Designed on an enhanced LC2MOS process, the ADG608TRU offers low power dissipation, high switching speed, and low on-resistance (30 Ohm maximum). It exhibits break-before-make switching action, preventing momentary shorting when switching channels. The input signal range extends to the supplies, and in the OFF condition, signal levels up to the supplies are blocked. The device comes in a 16-TSSOP package and is surface-mount compatible.
Key electrical characteristics include a maximum on-resistance of 5 Ohm at 100kHz, charge injection of 6pC, and switch times of 75ns (Ton) and 45ns (Toff). Crosstalk is rated at -85dB at 100kHz. Leakage current is a low 500pA. The multiplexer is suitable for applications requiring precise signal routing and minimal transient effects.
The operating voltage is ±5V.
