ADG509FBRN

The ADG509FBRN is a CMOS analog multiplexer from Analog Devices, designed for applications requiring fault protection. This device features four differential channels, allowing it to switch one of four differential inputs to a common differential output. It is configured as a 4:1 multiplexer and includes an enable input.

Key electrical specifications include a typical on-resistance of 270 Ohms and a channel capacitance of 3pF (source) and 12pF (drain). The switch time is fast, with tON at a maximum of 230 ns and tOFF at a maximum of 130 ns. It supports operating voltages of ±15V and operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.

This multiplexer offers significant fault and overvoltage protection, capable of withstanding continuous voltage inputs from -40V to +55V. During fault conditions with power supplies off, the input/output appears as an open circuit with only a few nanoamperes of leakage current flowing, protecting both the device and the signal source.
