The ADG444BN is a monolithic LC2MOS quad SPST (single-pole single-throw) switch designed by Analog Devices. It offers four independently selectable switches with low on-resistance (70 Ω max), excellent channel matching (3 Ω max), and flat on-resistance over the analog signal range (9 Ω max). Switching is fast with tON of 110 ns max and tOFF of 60 ns max. Leakage current is only 3 nA max, and charge injection is 6 pC max.
The device operates from a maximum supply voltage of 44 V, with an analog signal range from VSS to VDD. It requires a 5 V logic supply on the VL pin. The ADG444BN features break-before-make switching action and is latch-up proof. It is packaged in a through-hole 16-DIP (0.300", 7.62mm) package, making it suitable for breadboards and prototyping.
Typical applications include audio and video signal switching, automatic test equipment, precision data acquisition systems, battery-powered instruments, and sample-and-hold circuits. The ADG444BN is a plug-in upgrade for older parts such as the DG201A, ADG201A, DG202A, ADG202A, DG211, and ADG211A, and a plug-in replacement for DG441, DG442, and DG444.
