ADG431BR Description

Short technical summary and product information.

The ADG431BR is a monolithic CMOS device from Analog Devices comprising four independently selectable SPST-NC switches. It is designed on an enhanced LC2MOS process which provides low power dissipation yet high switching speed and low on resistance. The on resistance profile is very flat over the full analog input range ensuring excellent linearity and low distortion when switching audio signals. Fast switching speed coupled with high signal bandwidth also make the part suitable for video signal switching. CMOS construction ensures ultralow power dissipation making the parts ideally suited for portable and battery powered instruments.

Key specifications include a typical on-resistance of 24 Ohm, fast switching times with tON less than 165 ns and tOFF less than 130 ns, low charge injection of 5 pC, and crosstalk of -85 dB at 1 MHz. Off-channel leakage current is typically 250 pA, and channel capacitance is 9 pF for both source and drain. The switch operates from a nominal ±15 V analog supply and is specified over the industrial temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.

The ADG431BR is supplied in a 16-SOIC surface mount package with Gull Wing leads. It is a plug-in replacement for the DG411, DG412, and DG413 series. The device is RoHS3 compliant (unverified) and has an MSL of Level 1.
