The ADCLK914 is an ultrafast clock/data buffer fabricated on Analog Devices' proprietary XFCB-3 SiGe process. It features high voltage differential signaling (HVDS) outputs suitable for driving high-speed digital-to-analog converters (DACs).
It operates up to 7.5 GHz with a typical propagation delay of 160 ps and output rise/fall times of 100 ps. Random jitter is only 110 fs. The input includes a 100 Ω differential on-chip termination and accepts CML, CMOS, LVDS, LVPECL, and LVTTL logic levels.
The buffer has a single differential open-collector output. It operates from a 3.3 V supply (2.97 V to 3.63 V) over an extended industrial temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
The device is available in a 16-lead LFCSP-VQ (3x3 mm) package with exposed pad for surface mount assembly. Supplied in tape and reel packaging.
