The Texas Instruments ADC32RF80IRMPT is a dual-channel, 14-bit, 3-GSPS RF-sampling wideband receiver and feedback ADC. It offers a typical analog input bandwidth of 3200 MHz and supports RF inputs up to 4.0 GHz. The device achieves a typical SNR of 61.1 dB and SFDR of 66 dB at low input frequencies.
This ADC integrates on-chip digital down-converters (DDCs) with up to four DDCs in dual-band mode and up to three independent NCOs per DDC. It features a JESD204B interface with Subclass 1-based deterministic latency and four lanes per channel at 12.5 Gbps. The device also includes an on-chip input clamp for overvoltage protection, programmable power detectors with alarm pins for AGC support, and on-chip dither.
The ADC32RF80IRMPT is supplied in a 72-pin VQFN package with an exposed pad (10 mm x 10 mm) and operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. Typical power dissipation is 6400 mW total (3200 mW per channel) at 3.0 GSPS.
