The ADC12DL040CIVS is a dual-channel, 12-bit, 40-MSPS analog-to-digital converter (ADC) from Texas Instruments. It uses a pipelined architecture with digital error correction and an on-chip sample-and-hold circuit to achieve excellent dynamic performance while minimizing power consumption.
Key specifications include a 250 MHz analog input bandwidth, 69 dB SNR, 11.1 ENOB, and 86 dB SFDR. The converter operates from a single 3.0V supply and consumes only 210 mW typical at 40 MSPS. A power-down mode reduces consumption to 36 mW. The differential inputs accept a 2 V peak-to-peak full-scale input range.
The device is available in a 64-TQFP (10x10 mm) surface-mount package and operates over the industrial temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. It features a parallel CMOS/TTL data interface and supports simultaneous sampling of two channels.
