The ADC12D1000RFIUT/NOPB is a high-speed analog-to-digital converter (ADC) from Texas Instruments designed for RF sampling applications. It offers 12-bit resolution with a maximum sampling rate of 2.0 GSPS in single-channel mode or 1.0 GSPS per channel in dual-channel mode. The device features a folding interpolating architecture and supports simultaneous sampling of two differential inputs.
This ADC provides a wide analog input bandwidth of 2700 MHz, making it suitable for direct RF sampling. Key dynamic performance includes a signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of 60.1 dB, spurious-free dynamic range (SFDR) of 75 dB, and an effective number of bits (ENOB) of 9.6 bits. The typical power consumption is 3510 mW from a 1.8V to 2V supply.
The device is available in a 292-ball BGA package (27x27 mm) and is designed for surface mount assembly. It operates over the industrial temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. The ADC includes an internal reference and a LVDS parallel data interface. Features include simultaneous sampling and an input buffer.
