ADC128S102PWTSEP Description

Short technical summary and product information.

The ADC128S102PWTSEP is a low-power, eight-channel, 12-bit SAR ADC with conversion throughput rates from 50 kSPS to 1 MSPS. It is based on a successive-approximation register architecture with an internal track-and-hold circuit. The device accepts up to eight single-ended input signals through the MUX-S/H-ADC configuration.

With a 12-bit resolution and maximum DNL of +1.8/-0.99 LSB and INL of ±1.6 LSB, it provides accurate conversion. The ADC operates with analog supply from 2.7 V to 5.25 V and digital supply from 2.7 V to VA. Power consumption is typically 2.3 mW at 3 V and 10.7 mW at 5 V.

It is radiation-tolerant with SEL immunity up to 43 MeV·cm²/mg at 125°C and TID up to 30 krad(Si). These features make it suitable for space applications such as satellite EPS, C&DH, and optical imaging payloads. The device also meets ASTM E595 outgassing specification.

The ADC uses SPI, QSPI, and Microwire serial interfaces. It is available in a 16-TSSOP surface-mount package with body size 5.00 mm × 4.40 mm. The operating temperature range is -55°C to 125°C.
